Aleister Crowley was born into a rich family in 1875, his father and mother devout christians force feed the bible to him from a early age this instilled a hatred of anything and holy and tyhe yearning to seek a new philosophy in life. A talented painter, poet and chess grand master the idealogoy and philosophy of the church set him on a path to paganism, magik and the occult.

In his early 20s Crowley became a member of the golden dawn wherein he found a way to develop higher consciousness and the ability to commune with spirits and because of this he found himself on the shores of loch ness in 1899. On the southern shores of loch ness stands a house that few may know exists, this house is the start of the legend that is Aleister Crowley a house many locals claim 100 years on the dark forces still reside. The house is named after Baal and Crowley planned a ritual that required a terrace covered in fine sand in the sunlight, the sand to was capture the footprints of dark forces and demons could gather. The ritual is a complex and must been seen through to the end, Crowley failed to do this and many believe this held demons within the house and why Crowleys reputation preceeded him everywhere he went, the ritual when done correctly could last in excess of 6 months. The purpose of the ritual is to meet a holy gaurdian angel and to become enlightened with control of the spirit world. Crowley wrote in his diary " i blessed the talismans in the sun room with the terrace door open and a further source of light", the ritual to true enlightenment en tales bring forth true deep level demons and making them turn to the light and to follow god Crowley also noted in a diary "dark shadows have gathered and are pacing impatiently. Part way through Crowley received word his master in the order of the golden dawn needed help over in france against his better judgement Crowley left for paris and never returned to the house the rest of his life, he finished the ritual in Egypt. Owners after Crowley left the house on loch ness with each new occupier they became impoverished and even committed suicide, one owners killed himself with a shot gun and a later owners dog was found chewing on a piece of the skull it had found. Crowley's ceremony is often commented on as dark, depraved and evil but infact it was far from it. The ceremony was meant for enlightenment and to change dark forces to the light of god. The majority of Crowleys life was dogged with slander hatred and a bad reputation, this reputation was well founded as fundamentally Crowley was actually a dark depraved person
