GUIDE MEDITATION

MEDITATION

Sit in a upright chair, feet and knees together. Place your hands on your knees palms facing upwards then close your eyes and begin to relax. Breath in for five, hold for five and breath out for 5, keep this pattern the whole way through. With your eyes closed imagine a large oak door infront of where you are sitting, look around the room with your minds eye and notice all that is there is the oak door and the chair you are sitting on. Nothing else is within this room, this room is empty because it is your mind empty of worries and clear of stresses of the material world. When you are ready stand and walk towards the oak door and take a long look, notice the oak door is carved with happy moments in your life and the faces and places that mean the most to you. Peoples faces from within the mists of time and the shroud of the after life and when you are ready open the door. Beyond the door see a beautiful scene of a valley, grass greener than you have ever seen, blue skys without a single cloud and a large warm sun beating down on you and when you are ready step through the door and feel the gentle soft breeze blow over your face and skin and the green grass soft below your bare feet. Ahead of you in the distance is a forest,with trees that reach the skies, between you and the forest is a stream slowly flowing blue and gentle and you hear the waterfall and the birds singing high in the sky. Set off towards the stream taking in all the beauty around, hear the birds singing and in the distance the laughter of children and the buzz of voices. When you reach the stream sit for awhile, dangle your feet in the cool fresh water feel all your stress flow away completely. and when you are ready head towards the forest. Enter the forest stand still and watch, take in the beauty the sounds of the animals scurrying around. See the sunbeams shining through the leaves and a long winding leaf littered path ahead of you, and beyond that a hill with a figure standing at the peak. Walk through the forest when you feel ready, walk through each sunbeam and with each warming beam feel your self more relaxed and more open, hear the animals,hear the sounds of excited whispers and the laughter of the children. As you near the end of the path you are more aware. Stand within the warming pure sunlight look around and the animals,voices and childrens laughter are more than just sound, Around you are men,women and children of every age race,creed that there has ever been. Notice the different clothes they wear, the many and varied types from many a different era. This is the spirit drawing close in preparation of communicating. When you are ready walk to the hill and note the figure standing there, clear and bright eminating the purest white light that you could ever dream or imagine This figure is your guide and when you are ready continue walking and as you get closer take in every detail. Are they male? are they female? are they young or old? what race are they? what style of clothing do they wear? all the distinction of their details and features? This is your guide you have no fear. When you reach the peak and stand looking fearless and with love to your guide. If the time for you to communicate your guide may introduce themselves to you your guide when you are ready for spirit will give you a small box, this box is a gift of love from them to you. A small token they are willing to help. The gift may be a item you will use to connect each time you wish to communicate or a hint of the gift that is being bestowed on you. When you are ready turn, wave and say your goodbye and repeat your journey in reverse until you are sat back in the empty room and the oak door is once again close. When you are ready to open your eyes sit for a moment and sip some cold water. the end
