AMAROK the demon wolf

Three hunters in the winter of 2011 heading for there favorite hunting spot, little did they know within the shadows of the brush and the cold frosty air the hunters were being hunted. During a rest break from the long cold walk they made camp and began laughing joking and drinking around a small fire, when one of the party a man named Ben said he needed to answer the call of nature and headed away from the other two men. Ben wandered deeper into the forest for privacy to urinate when something must of caught his attention Unaware the other two men sat drinking and reported it was at that point they heard the sound of gun fire and a blood curdling scream followed closely by a howl, panic hit them and they ran in the direction their friend ben had been heading, but ben was gone. The men claim to of searched for hours but no trace of their friend could be found, no clothing nothing but what they did find terrified them, both men independantly interviewed bore statement to witnessing a huge beast standing in the shadows in the process of flanking them, hunting waiting to pounce. The two men turned tail and ran. Was this simply a case of murder?, remember we only have the statement of two of the three men and even now in 2017 Bens remains have never been found or is it a case of the legendary beast the amarok? Delani national park is known to be the home of wolves and on the night of ben vanishing the men did report hearing a howl, although how common is a wolf hunting alone, that is something i am unclear on. The area of Denali park where the unfortunate man vanished is relatively flat with no evidence of caves or ravines so this limits the probability of the man falling over a cliff in the cold icy terrain. The Amarok also known as the demon wolfis said to resemble a brown bear but with the snout of a wolf and weigghing in a huge 900lbs. The legend of the demon wolf is a father mourning the death of one of his children, the father suspected then demon wolf ate his son so the father went out hunting the creature but when he happened upon the creature it cleaved his body in two with one swipe of his paw. A nother tale says the amarok hunts moose and deer to feed and stalks humans that enter its territory but only attacks those acting aggressive or armed, this ignites the creatures blood lust and pleasure of the kill. A woman named Brittany Walker whilst taking her dog for a walk came across animal remains so brutally savaged she could not tell what kind of animal it was. The young women aged 24 at the time claims she heard a howl in front of her so turned around to make her way home, she goes on to say she witnessed a massive creature the size of a grizzly bear but with canine/wolf like features... So is the Amarok real or pure legend i personally think its a camp fire tale told to put some fear and excitement into a night camping around a open fire in the wilderness, although legends have a spark of truth somewhere along the line and this legend takes on creatures around the world like the Michigan

dogman is the first that springs to mind.
